I take care of a home in The Villages since 2014 when the buyer took possession. A group called Pat The Plumber apparently had installed back in 2009 an extremely expensive solar panel system for an elderly couple's hot water heater. Turns out the solar panel - a first class, very expensive German made manufacturer - was installed totally incorrectly and the panel leaked and drove us all nuts until we decided to get rid of the panel ad just use... had one installed by him and now like everyone else cant find him to fix the problems. the solar panel has come apart. was told it needed replaced for $3400.00. My info shows this company's owner is PATRICK MICHAEL WALSH at 3616 Stephen Road, Lady Lake FL 32159. Maybe we can check out that address and find him. Is there anyway this guy can still be a licensed plumber in the state of Florida. If he is licensed and still working in Florida why... Read more

In July of 2012 I called Pat the Plumber from Leesburg Florida to do some repairs for me. He gave me an estimate of $1100. and wanted 1/2 up front. I gave them a check. I thought about it overnight and decided it was too much money. I knew I would have to pay the housecall for $79. which was okay. The problem is that since I cancelled, I have not been able to get the remainder of my money. After calling several different times and being... Read more

I had a hot water leak repaired in June 2012. It started leaking again in a closet flooding the floor. I called for service and was told that someone would be out between 11:00-1:00 on August 2, 2012. I waited. I called and was assured that they were coming out there and they were running a little behind. I called again at 4:30ish no one answered. I continued to call and finally got through to a representative. I was told that because it... Read more

Pat the Plumber man came to my home to unstop a clogged shower drain. He walked in the door with an electric plumber's snake, inserted it in the shower drain and augered it for five minutes. Then he ran water for 30 seconds, and said, "Looks like we're done here, and handed me a bill for $300 dollars. What a rip- off! They didn't even give me the senior discount, although I'm 70, and surely qualify as a senior! I'm buying a drill-powered... Read more

I received an emial the other day from a good friend detailing what Pat the Plumber did to his 83 year old Uncle who lives in The Villages, FL. It upset me so as I too had a personal experience with this company that left me upset and weary of all other plumbing companies - which I know is not fair. Two years ago. Christmas Eve. My wife and I were having an open house. I was working but returned home early that afternoon only to find that... Read more

A plumber from Pat the Plumber came to check two dripping faucets. He gave us an estimate of $900, plus the $79 service fee and said he needed to put a hole in the wall to access the pipes. We would have to get someone to repair the whole when he finished. Of course we said "no thanks". We had to pay the $79 service fee. I called another reputable plumber and he did the same job, plus fix a toilet for $110. This company is a rip off. Consumer... Read more

Okay, my husband worked for Pat and not only did Pat not pay him, but my husband said they "DEFINATELY" over-charge. My husband and as I'm sure you know, businesses must over charge some tomake money. Well I'm told Pat charged like 5 or 6 times more than you should. Who in their right mind would pay $3, 4, or $500 to fix a clogged toliet. C'mon, call me and I'll charge you $20 and not only smell good, but look good too. Don't waste your time or... Read more
